Cool ant farm

I was a bad uncle as I didn't get any new cool toys for my nephew and niece this time round. So I went to my favorite discovery store this past weekend and bought an amazing hi-tech ant farm kit. The gel, derived from a NASA Space experiment, serves as both habitat and nutrition for the ants - allowing you to watch as they turn a brick of aqua-blue gel into a fascinating colony of tunnels. Check it out!

"ANT FARM

In a recent survey, 4 out of 5 ants perferred the AntWorks Ant Farm Habitat over the more boring dirt farm. This space-age habitat allows you to study the behavior of ants in a unique, self-contained environment. Its special gel is full of nutrients specially formulated for the needs of the ant (formulated by a certified ant nutritionist). Because the gel is clear, you can actually see the ants dig their tunnels in 3 dimensions. AntWorks includes a container with a special gel formulation, magnifying glass, 20 page booklet detailing fascinating ant facts and a special ‘extreme magnification lens' with which you can even see hairs on the ants! Live ants are not shipped with this product! You'll receive a order form to send away for your ants. Shipping of the Ants is $3. Just make sure their new home is ready when they arrive. "

That's why I play with legos and other mechanical toys; they don't die.

BTW, how was birthday celebration for the puppy at Sentosa?
