My secret love for Transformers
I've yet to post some pictures of my family vacation. I will do so when I get some time.
However, Transformers the movie is out and as much as I want to pretend to be a matured adult, I can't wait to watch it. As a kid, Transformer was appealing to me as it was the only one cartoon where the good guys did lose once in a while. For some warped reasons, I always supported the underdogs and bad guys..hehe. In Transformers, the good guys occasionally died..as much as it was touching, I felt fulfilled.
I couldn't afford the cool transformer toy as a kid and after scrounging up all my money, I got two (1 crane and 1 excavator) out of the 5 of the green constructicons. I bought them months apart..one of the them made up the head and the other the right shoulder of the big robot once they all merge. I spent numerous hours playing with the head and shoulders imagining how tall and big my combined transformers will look one day if I got the rest of the three body parts. Besides those two, one of my wealthier friends gave me a broken star scream and that was the jewel of my collection. Eventually I sold the excavator to a friend to alleviate my dire financial situation (probably used the money to buy chemicals to make a rocket) and I think I still have the crane somewhere at home in Singapore. Transformers are awesome...its more than meets the eye for sure.
