Sound of Music
Audiophiles like Matlov have strong opinions on their musical instruments, headpones and such. I recently purchased the Bose noise cancelling headphones against Mat's recommendation. The Bose headpones are a must have to fit into the business cabins of the jets of Corporate America. Honestly, I don't give a damn about that; more importantly I want to protect my hearing and also listen to some good music.I swear, music has never ever sounded this perfect before. Crystal clear resolution with good bass. When you switch on the noisecancelling, it blocks off all the ambient white noise. It is a must have for you guys with girlfriends who chat nonchalantly. For me, it makes me appreciate music better.

these ones are quite comfy on the ears and you can wear for a long time. If you travel alot, its worth the investment.

Joule is this crazy Brazilian mofo who is my best buddy from college days. I've asked that moron to visit me (he only lives in SF) so you might get to meet him.
It's quite difficult to know when he is sober and when he is not..probably less time sober than not actually. He sounds pretty much the same in either case.

i've been eyeing those for a while now! did you do a comparison study with the other models on the market e.g. Sennheiser, Sony etc? Is the Bose QC2 seriously worth the premium?

I spent like $60 on a Maxell noise cancelling and felt it was just money down the drain. All the business class guys in America use the Bose QC2. I trusted their choice plus ipod normally gives out quite flat sound with very little bass. The bose compensates for it really well. I am no expert in this but I think its a good buy and secondly, anytime u turn it around and sell it on ebay you get back at least $250 back. (80%) Your depreciation is not that bad.
